Discover the cradle of Impressionism! From the village of Louveciennes where Pissarro and Renoir to the banks of the Seine, discover the landscapes that inspired painters in the 19th century.

The morning :
– Village of Louveciennes.
Established on a privileged site, Louveciennes has managed to preserve village-like pace nestled around its bell tower. Boxes of colors across the shoulder, easels planted in the open air, the four great impressionist painters Monet, Pissarro, Sisley and Renoir illustrated Louveciennes with many paintings. You will follow the “Chemin des Impressionnistes”, punctuated by reproductions of some of them.

Lunch

The afternoon
– Walk along the Seine at Chatou or Croissy-sur-Seine
Hungry for the fresh air, fascinated by the light reflecting on the waters of the river, these artists roamed the banks of these localities and left their testimonies alive.
Visit the Fournaise museum in Chatou or the Grenouillère museum in Croissy-sur-Seine, evoking the history of famous dance halls where the festive life of artists and boaters was concentrated.
