With this itinerary, Saint Germain Boucles de Seine unveils two of its gems: the Désert de Retz and the Château de Madame du Barry.

Initiated in 1774 by François Racine de Monville, the park with its monuments, audacious viewpoints and remarkable trees is a perfect example of the refined garden arts of the 18th century. On its forest backdrop, it invites you to admire the "Garden of Light".

- The gardens of the Château de Madame du Barry
This landscaped park created in the 18th and 19th centuries was recently restored, and its monuments, ponds and rockeries pay tribute to the last mistress of Louis XV who lived here from 1769 to 1793.
The salons also open to the public for a few days every year, in May.
