The morning :
– Ivan Turgenev Museum in Bougival
The museum is housed in the “Datcha” that the Russian writer had built within the property “Les Frênes”. Room, office and music room have been restored, and house a beautiful collection of authentic objects: piano, manuscripts, letters …


The afternoon
– Castle of Monte Cristo
Alexandre Dumas built in 1844 in Port-Marly a “reduction of the earthly paradise”. In the three-hectare English-style park you will discover the “Renaissance castle” and an amazing “gothic” building surrounded by water: the If castle where he took refuge to work.

– Medan Castle
Former hunting lodge, became property of Maurice Maeterlinck Nobel Prize of literature in 1921, this castle, now restored and inhabited, also keeps the memory of Ronsard and the poets of the Pléiade. You will be received by the owners. Refreshments offered.
