Our sporting events in Saint Germain Boucles de Seine

L’Alphonsine celebrates its tenth year in 2018! The sporting spotlight is on the ladies for this running and hiking race! Chatou’s Parc des Impressionnistes is the lush green backdrop to a moment of fun, friendship and good humour.

This is one of the most prestigious races and, without a doubt, one of the most beautiful in the world’s 10 km road runs. The Houilles international “Corrida” running race combines a festive atmosphere with high-level sportsmanship.

The colours of Spring, from the Bois de Boulogne for some runners and from Rueil-Malmaison for others, to the terrace of the château of Saint-Germain-en-Laye, provide a combined urban and natural décor for this unique playground during the month of May. In 2018, take part in the 10th Paris Saint Germain La Course.

Come and experience a 10 km race in a setting steeped in history with la Foulée Royale de Saint-Germain-en-Laye! You will run the length of Le Nôtre’s terrace overlooking Paris and the River Seine, through national forest and parks in full bloom, to finish, after two laps, at the foot of the château where the kings of France once lived. There is a short version too, a 2 km children’s race!

Every year on 1 May, the Rowing Club of Port Marly (RCPM) organises a rowing race on the Seine over a 21 km loop starting at Port-Marly. La Course des Impressionnistes is a long-distance race organised by the FFSA (French motorsports federation).

The Challenge Verrier is an international field-hockey tournament held in Saint-Germain-en-Laye. Reserved for the under 14s, this event attracts hockey teams from all over Europe.

In 2018, the bicycle is the star in Saint Germain Boucles de Seine!

From 4 to 11 March 2018, the year’s first European stage race. The starting line is at Chatou in Yvelines and cyclists of all categories can join in. Come to Chatou for the legendary Paris-Nice!!!
And this summer, on 29 July, head for Houilles for the 21st and final stage of the
Tour de France!
