You will run the length of Le Nôtre’s terrace overlooking Paris and the River Seine, through national forest and parks in full bloom, to finish, after two laps, at the foot of the château where the kings of France once lived. There is a short version too, a 2 km children’s race!
Every year on 1 May, the Rowing Club of Port Marly (RCPM) organises a rowing race on the Seine over a 21 km loop starting at Port-Marly. La Course des Impressionnistes is a long-distance race organised by the FFSA (French motorsports federation).
The Challenge Verrier is an international field-hockey tournament held in Saint-Germain-en-Laye. Reserved for the under 14s, this event attracts hockey teams from all over Europe.
