Two days following the footsteps of the Kings and Emperors who left their mark on the history of our towns.

The history of Boucles de Seine is a prestigious one featuring kings and emperors. You will visit two emblematic royal towns: Saint-Germain-en-Laye, the birthplace of King Louis XIV, where the château, the gardens of the Domaine National, and the heart of the town all bear traces of an intense royal presence that lasted for six centuries; and Marly-le-Roi, a town that kept kings entertained, with its park and streets lined with picturesque houses.
Next, you'll be immersed in the history of the empire, with a tour of the renovated and furnished Château de Malmaison, where Bonaparte lived with Josephine. You will also visit the Musée d'Archéologie Nationale and the town of Saint-Germain-en-Laye, where the influence of Napoleon III is still visible.
