Description
On 17 October 2014, the Commune de Chambourcy bought André Derain's house and part of its park, which were registered in the Inventaire Supplémentaire des Monuments Historiques in 1986.
/ THE PARK /
Renovations were made to the park in 2017 and it is now open to the public at the following times:
- from 16 April to 14 October: 8am–8.30pm
- from 15 October to 15 April: 8am–6pm
Two-wheeled vehicles and dogs, even on a lead, are not allowed in the park. Bathing in the lakes is also prohibited. These rules have been established in accordance with decree No. 18/019 concerning the use of and visits to the Parc Municipal André Derain.
