A "life on the farm" experience for all the family at the "Serres des Princesses" horticultural farm at Saint-Germain-en-Laye!
Located in an 83-hectare estate between the forests of Saint-Germain and Marly, the Serres des Princesses farm works in partnership with the Lycée Agricole et Horticole de Saint-Germain. As well as producing crops, the farm plays an important educational role too.
For children, a variety of workshops are organised on the theme of agriculture, a chance to learn about seasonal produce and the farming profession. The educational farm welcomes groups and school children, including infants.
This farm is a pioneer when it comes to technology. It is a trial and demonstration site which constantly seeks new tools and techniques that are more friendly to the environment and to humans. The greenhouses display a wide range of fruit, vegetables and decorative plants for sale.
