This pool is close to the train station and cinema, and is equipped with all the necessary features for training sessions and recreational swimming. The semi-circular roof may cause confusion for backstroke fans!
Two or three swimming lanes, depending on the affluence and time of day, are reserved for serious swimmers, and there is a stop clock on the wall. The swimming instructors are at hand to give you advice or information on swimming and training techniques. Remember to stretch and to drink sufficiently before and after training, and you can end your session in the sauna or hammam.
The fitness area proposes exercise bikes, rowing machines, cross trainers, steppers, abs exercises, a hammam and a sauna.
The Franck Esposito municipal pool, which has been partly renovated by Marly-le-Roi council, was built in 1977 and attracts 90,000 visitors every year. So, to ensure the wellbeing of residents and a high quality of service, the council carried out some necessary work in 2017:
- update of the ventilation system to comply with standards
- restoration of the pool's watertightness
- replacement of pipes
- renovation of staff premises and exterior frames.
For the lockers, bring a €1 coin, which you retrieve before you leave.
Swimming hats are compulsory for all pool users.
The accessory distributor (goggles, swimsuits and adults'/children's swimming hats) does not accept bank cards. You'll need €5 or €10 notes, or coins.
