The morning :
– Carrara City
Rehabilitated 15 years ago, this former 11th century stone quarry is now classified as an architectural heritage zone. Liais, limestone from quarries, allowed, among other things, the construction of the basilica of Saint-Denis. The mushroom growers took over and made the city the European capital of button mushrooms.

The afternoon
- Town tour
Cross the centuries with this preserved village on the banks of the Seine. Carrières-sur-Seine was truly founded in the 12th century with Suger, abbot of Saint-Denis and principal adviser to King Louis XI le Gros. Its inhabitants adapt to the course of history: they are stonemasons, winegrowers or producers of button mushrooms. The guided tour will take you from the banks of the Seine to the Saint-Jean-Baptiste church, passing through the troglodyte houses.
