It was in the twelfth century with Suger, abbot of Saint-Denis and senior advisor to King Louis VI Gros, that Carrières-sur-Seine was truly founded. Its inhabitants are in turn stonemasons, vine growers or producers of mushrooms in Paris.
Your visit will take you from the banks of the Seine once prized by impressionist painters, the barn to the Dimes, the church of Saint-Jean-Baptiste, the Park City Hall, the Press, through the troglodyte houses.
