Discover the world of Anne-Christine!

For many years, Anne Christine Wellenstein has been experimenting with a large number of techniques and know-how, but remains a fan of oil painting and a lover of its pigments which allow her a subtle play of materials and colors. Her artistic research evokes everything that touches her: from ancient architecture to contemplative gardens, passing through the nobility of horses and the velvet of jazz, all imbued with Japanese resonances, a culture with which she has forged a soul connection.

For Anne Christine Wellenstein, the act of painting is a visceral act that allows her to show her own gaze, to probe her emotions, to bear witness to the Beauty present in everything, even the most innocuous. His universe drifts between dream and reality. In this "in-between" of abstraction and figuration, the story is told and the space is deformed, revealing the blurred image of a fleeting moment in suspended time. Whether the theme is committed or contemplative, the goal remains the same: to capture the poetry of the moment to bring us to refocus and free ourselves. Revealing the poetry that surrounds us, making the invisible visible, freeing herself and finding her own light, such is her quest as an artist... Since 2015, Anne Christine Wellenstein has been working on the circle. Her "bubble paintings" as she calls them, offer a moment of reflection where the circle abrogates time and space, like a parenthesis that opens, a moment of introspection. Through the prism of a long view, they offer so many open windows that invite the gaze, the real one: the one who takes the time, the one who immerses himself, the one who wonders, to capture the essential and probe the invisible to this world that we cross...

Anne Christine Wellenstein has forged her experience on numerous exhibitions in France and abroad. From 2007 to 2012, she regularly participated in major Parisian historical fairs such as Art en Capital, the Salon d'Automne and the Salon de la Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts, of which she was a member. Since 2014, she has presented her work at major international Contemporary Art fairs in France (Paris / Lyon / Bordeaux / Nantes / Mulhouse / Deauville …) and abroad (Belgium / Luxembourg …). His works are collected beyond our borders, the very last have gone to Norway and the United States!
