The Impressionist Trail In the footsteps of the greatest painters

Imagine walking where Monet, Renoir, Pissarro and many others set down their easels, in the very light they immortalised. Between the banks of the Seine, winding cobbled streets, orchards and breathtaking panoramas, every diversions will plunge you into a living tableau. Whether you’re an art enthusiast or just a nature lover, this walk is an invitation to travel back in time, a moment that’s both inspiring and soothing.

Nine courses Around fifty paintings

At Saint Germain Boucles de Seine, around fifty reproductions of paintings have been placed at the very spot where the painters set up their easels. Ranging in length from 1 to 5 kilometres, these routes are accessible to all, and you can also combine them for a longer stroll. Here are our tips for discovering the Impressionist Trail.
